problems with fuel!
i'm using a truck that uses 2 electric engines but uses so much batteries who can help me with this problem. The main problem it causes that i can't make it to the trader and back to my base with out running out if batteries. I need a solution fast so i can get the shotgun!

Make the truck out of wood or something to have less weight, also switch to gas engine, use electric engines for drills and saws

It's running out because Batteries are more rare than gas. You have to farm Tape bots(other than crate drops) for it if you want more, which is rather unpleasant.

The only case where I've seen an electric engine be efficient is in motorcycle builds where you only need to power 1 bearing. It barely consumes a battery even after several miles of travel as seen in Kan's survival series with his friend Cosmo.

Your options are,
- Build an electric bike(rather expensive but low battery consumption)

- Stick to gas engines, crude oil is abundant in the ocean and it is 1 to 1 gas per crude oil.

- Bearing powered movement, only 1 level 5 controller is enough to get to decent speeds. (Search JohnBane's survival playthrough, it's where I copied it but it is not a tutorial. I'm sure there are better tutorials for it if you search more)

- Piston powered movement, requires some piston and sensors. (Only saw a video of Kan's piston engine tutorial)

Oh and why are you using 2 electric engines to power your vehicle? Engines can be upgraded to power more bearings and consume less fuel/power. Like the electric bike I mentioned, it has a level 5 electric engine powering only 1 bearing, making it quite efficient.

You'll need plenty of component kits though so I recommend a bearing powered vehicle to do raids in Haybot structures.

If you insist on using electric engines, upgrade it and make the vehicle lighter because more weight = more fuel consumption.

I'd avoid the bearing powered and go with gas. If the game lags on you the bearing stuff will go mad and potentially ruin your save,

Always test bearing powered or piston powered creations in creative first. I barely have any problem with bearings going haywire in survival but as a safety measure just back up the save file for survival as reassurance.

The bearing powered movement works fine as far as I can tell, J0hnBane and iBallisticSquid used it. I even turned my bearing powered vehicle into a Borderlands 2 bandit car. So yeah, many players have been using it and any problems it may cause is almost non-existent. It will depend entirely on how it is built, lag and other factors for it to go haywire.

If the bearing axel goes haywire on your vehicle quickly put it back on the lift. It happened to me only once while on the road. It might have been because of tile loading lag but that's about it, I took the vehicle everywhere and raided a warehouse with zero gas.

Yeah just go with gas

try making a bearing engine with controllers with no fuel or a piston engine i dont know how but you can look it up on youtube

the only bad thing is bearing engines sometimes flip out because of pressure as shown with big bertha in iballisticsquids survival series

i don't have the gas and when i do farm for oil i run out too fast

same with the other person suggested when i farm for oil and when i use it for gas i use it pretty fast
also AlexTECPlayz i need my truck to be metal for better protection and maybe i could switch to level 2 wood since its the same weight to wood but stronger so thanks for the idea!
last thing for y'all's idea the gas engine is to weak for the truck< the truck need to be able to carry alot of stuff while maintaining the speed

thats what i'm using
i'm using 2 electric engines
to power my truck
