fuel free vehicles
So Im building a mobile vehicle and have been using bearing engines, but the bearing engines are causing my fps to drop. anyone know a better and more compact fuel-free engine type other than bearing and piston engines?

I think I saw a video that use the angle of a block to force the wheels to spin but I can try looking for that video again

how many bearings you using? I have run up to 10 just for my engine. and never had any frame drops.

Well, my car is huge and i have 4x 5bearing engines (One per each wheel)

so 20 bearings, plus 10-15 for other parts of car

maybe we could do multiplayer and you can check it out?

oh man, that thing must haul if you will ever get traction. Mine at the most is always 10. the max of 1 controller. of less main ones and a second controller as a turbo boost which works well cuz it can be turned off when needed. Glad your at your dads place. take care man. keep building.

afaik besides bearing controlled engine you can also use piston engine and even suspension glitch for fuel free vehicle. But yeah Bearing one is the easiest by far to craft.

The only thing that sucks at bearing is when start or reverse especially having more than 10 bearings. You got this unnecessary movement since the control need to reset by rotating to it's original location. I saw couple of days back that there's a way to solve this in youtube by using timer.

ive been using a 12 bearing design that has a turbo and reverse (turbo is done but keeping reverse off turn reverse on and it slows it down a small amount but enough to turn better only keep turbo on when going straight otherwise i cant hardly turn lol)

I have to deactivate 1 bearing on each engine or the wheels turn outwards. it has bad maneuvering but fast. it does haul for sure, but only when im lucky enough for it to work. if the devs would add tank treds, this thing would really move.

Nuendo, I dont need the distance to be acurate as this thing is going to be a camping vehicle that will carry my motor bikes and atv, but cant build those till i get this working.

I think I will try to build 4-6 piston powered mech legs for it. hopefully it works
