Tips for finding Caged Farmer?

Is there any hits or advice to help find trap farmers?

There's places that may have them, yeah.

First, there's always a camp far to the north/northwest from the spawn. Follow the road in that direction, you might have to go around a warehouse to continue on, and you'll eventually come across a parking lot type area, protected by one or two haybots. From the back end of that lot is a trail through the woods. Follow it up and around to a camp that always spawns multiple caged farmers.

Second, check ember zones. Sometimes an ember zone will contain a small camp, probably just a single spawn. Be aware though that some ember zones may contain little valleys with big red farmbots though. If you see melted farmbots in the zone and aren't prepared to deal with multiple big reds, then get out of the area.

There can be other random camps in wooded areas too, but there's no formula for finding those, you kinda just have to explore.

i think they are always located north of the mechanic station too im pretty sure

I am sorry but I can not tell north form south or any other points in the game without a compress

Is there a compass or something? Im just assuming north is the road thats at the mechanic ship, left to the front of the ship

You aren't on earth so a compass wouldn't do you any good and things aren't this way or that, everyone playing gets their own survival world generated for them when they begin a new world.
