No Survival worlds are the same. And of course you always spawn next to your ship. Where else would you?

and this can be a problem i think. btw you can just "like in minecraft" just spawn in the world without the ship, get your base materials and start building

ok the think is, if you discover the complete world in scrap mechanic, collect all materials you can collect. it can be over. (maybe this is not correct by me to compare the game with minecraft) but in minecraft the world is so huge (7 times biger than the real world) you never stop discover ore building. it will take 1.000 years. and ofc you have the other world, nether and end. plus you cant change the terrain in scrap mechanic. you need to work, with what you have

i will do, trust me. scrap mechanic is a nice game, but it can be that mutch nicer. now axolot create the hype with survival. i am sure month later, scrap mechanic is forgoten again. while we play minecraft over 10 years now and they still bring out cool updates. and do you think axolot will support the game after the hype is over?

Also the devs said in the 13th devblog that there's randomly generated survival maps. Whats most likely is that the pre-release key that was given out is forced to use 1 seed. A lot of games before have done this as to prevent to much content from reaching players before the final release.
Mr. Dutch Wolf May 3, 2020 @ 7:49pm
scrap mechanic originally had the same seed in all worlds when they first released the game

This isn't minecraft, and you don't have *that much* rights to make the game fit to your likings.
Devs may take whatever you want on the game as a suggestion and possible feature, but this is not minecraft, this is Scrap Mechanic, and devs have made the game like this because that's the game they wanted to create, with the help of the community by giving feedback, suggestions, testing and that stuff. Hopefully what other users here says about using only one seed for the preview release is right and when we have to play after May 7th, we will get procedural worlds :)

But Minecraft gets like 2 updates per year and they just add some new mods and blocks not a new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mode and a completely new engine and retextures.

what? do you even know minecraft. the last updates was so huge. aquatic update with the new water system and new underwater bioms with new mobs, blocks, items and mechanics. than with the 1.15 villiage pillage updtate they complete change how the village system works, added new wappons, new mobs and the raid system. and now comes 1.16 with the complete new nether, new mobs, new blocks, new items, new ore.

and btw minecraft got a retexturing!
that tells me you know nothing about minecraft and the updates from the game
