That's a "welcome to the rice fields" move if there ever was one.
Just a few hours ago I reported a previously unnoticed (as far as I've been able to find digging through the pinned thread) bug in logic circuits, actually the second this week... But hey, I must not have been testing the game because I was using unlimited inventory to build the ginormous and expensive circuits that allowed me to discard the possibility those inconsistent behaviours being caused by a flaw in my design's ability to overcome built in delay or something...
I'm clearly doing this wrong, I should be treating the game as if it was already the 1.0 release and investing my time into a long term save, perhaps building a huge base made exclusively out of intentionally boring and craftable materials that make up less than a tenth of the actual building blocks and parts in the game.
