Scrap Mechanic

Will we ever get wheels that actually has grip and traction than the current plastic slippery wheels we got? Also Spaghetti suspension.
The games been out for awhile, and its centered to be this car mechanic game but we can't even get proper wheels. Even if you get the big wheels, you will still not be able to climb hills, or slow down/speed up properly. It feels like the ground is made out of ice most of the time (I even tried to do multiple wheels per bearing but still no help). I'd rather not like to be forced to use thrusters for grip when you shouldn't need it in the first place.

And don't get me started on the suspensions, the moment you get a little bit of weight on them, they flop around like spaghetti everytime you speed up or try to slow down. These are old issues that really needs improvement for the primary part of this game to be actually enjoyable to play.

I always put suspensions behind the drill heads, but that's not really the issue. It's difficult to even line up on a lot of the rocks, because the little hills the rocks are on cause your vehicle to slide around. That's why i use 6-wheel drive with 6-wheel steering; I can always get some traction, but usually not enough to overcome a lot of the sliding.

On roads, it's all good, I've got no problems. On grass hills or dips, might as well be driving on a somewhat slick surface. Now, the kicker and an issue I bet a lot of people have and don't realize what it's doing to them... put your drill heads on the ground and it's like being on ice. The drills act almost like a zero friction surface when against the ground and they seem to largely override your other vehicle friction.

Funny enough, those old crappy starter tires have one point higher in Friction stat than big tires...
Wonder if I can try to make deployable breaks using just them without bearings?

I tried to make a braking system and a stability system like the real things. nope just slid as much as the tires. this is a programming glitch that they need to fix.

I found out that it's a lot easier to mine rocks if you come down on them from above. I'm about to try the stationary miner as a giant platform full of downward facing drills...

I drive a 16 wheel 5x4 bearing drive monster. Weight doesnt matter to me. Traction is not a issue. And i turn on a dime without any of those ♥♥♥♥ suspension turning glitches......but i still slide down a hill when parked aswell.

I have zero issues with wheel flop and turn at 45° because, its made right :D

For a miner, I made two 'arms' on pistons that would be pulled towards the middle, with two rotating drill heads each and a lifting mechanism. It chewed through stone formations at an amazing speed, but I still had to break out the hammer, though.
