Cotton is a damn lie
I've searched for hours and haven't found a single thing of cotton. Can someone post a screenshot so I don't lose my sanity.

Haha, so many people can't find the cotton!

You need to look for a special biome that looks like autumn-time. So red/orange grass and trees with red/orange leaves. The cotton plants are all over in this biome.

There is lol. It is around the area where you find the craftbot.

The cotton is usually around the colorful tree areas, the brown and red trees.

Like others said look for a biome where the leaves on the trees are turning orange like. When you find it, get out of your car and go searching. I found a few cotton areas so far but I was never able to spot the cotton from the road, even with draw distance all the way up. I always had to go into the forest to find cotton. You can get several stacks from one biome.

I found cotton right near the Mechanic shop thing

PartyAlex, a lot of the worlds seem to have it right across the road from the first packing plant. The first caged guy is usually there as well, further up the hill.

haven't seen any cotton plant on my world.
Have seen lots of pigment plants and bee hives, but no cotton.
thinking of restarting to see if that gonna help.

Honestly, they have to make cotton more common.
I made a new world to see how many cotton i could find after 20 minutes, i found 3 cottons.

usually they are pretty spread out.
