Survival: Can't pick up my vehicle with the lift?

I've been playing survival for almost a full 24 hours and now... all of a sudden, out of the blue I can't pick up my vehicle with the lift. It gives me a red symbol.

Make sure you don't have any 'logs' attached to it directly, or robot limbs that you can refine.

I figured it out. It was because I was hauling a long piece of scrap on my vehicle and it was touching the ground (below the wheel line) as I drove

Trizzle, I think it's to prevent you from just transporting the logs en masse by attaching them to a wooden pallet, at least until you get the resource collector

i know this was 4 years ago but i was having that issue and i found out that the problem was probably the fact i was carrying 4 fruit crates on my vehicle

Yeah, you can't have any crates or logs or anything like that attached to it.
