ok first off: great update, tones of fun.

but farming isn't great and almost impossible in multiplayer, getting raided every 20 minutes is really hampering my ability to explore.

i'm housed in a workshop near a chemical pool and what i presume to be a food processor and iv'e given up on growing food entirely, what really bring in the "dough" is milk, sure its bad hunger wise, but without drawing any attention and the corn can be found in abundance in the wild.

Don't grow stuff when you go out exploring. Only grow when your home. I don't think this is meant to be a farm sim where you just constantly have stuff churning out. I dunno, I could be wrong.

But if you have the cook bot, you can do better meal. They fillup all your health and hunger. And, you can farm only when needed. They alway attack at Midnight, so when you empty your farm, you do the last fight, and you are up to explore.

It doesn't have to be right in front of them. You can actually place it further away and lure them back home. or place it and pick it up before they eat it to save on corn while leading it back.

Yes if you move too far away or re load the game, you will have to wangle a new cow.

To make recipes that fill your thirst/hunger bars. To make ammo for weapons. To trade with.

No they don't. I have a 3x3 plot and I fill that up with no attacks.

Turns out, very few of them attack with just 9 or 10 crops. Like 3 or 4 bots at the most I have found. Which can be dealt with in seconds.
