Car dissapeared

Maybe this is unique to me, but my car disappeared! i parked it, exited the game for a little while, came back, loaded the game, and bam! my car was gone, all those resources, not that it was good or anything ;_;, but it did take some time. anyone know how to get my car back? if not, oh well.

also, another thing is, whenever i go under water, it sounds like a jet is taking off, also if i stay under long enough, it makes my game freeze, but right before it freezes, the sound gets weird.

Same issue happened here, restarting the game did not bring the car back.

i had this but the wheels where still there

i found my car but it was in a difrent place that wasnt to far away

Same issue here. First car vanished when I reloaded the game so I had to make a second. Then the second one disappeared. Luckily I was able to find the second one under the water using the connect tool. I guess it rolled into the water? Read somewhere to prevent this, put it on a lift every time you get off. Has worked for me so far at least until a fix is pushed.

It's not vanished it's just not syncing right. Follow it's recent path path and you can back track it... Sadly just does not sync properly.

I will try this. I logged in this morning and I was right where I logged out (inside the crashed ship), but my vehicle which was 5 feet outside the door when I logged out was no longer there. I have not been off-road/path with my vehicle yet, so if it is a syncing issue and it is somewhere I have been previously, it should be easy to find. I will look for it after work today.

Mine was gone but the wheels and everything below the steering bearings remained. So I lost metal, seat, non-scrap engine, and the desire to play anymore.

update: this worked for me, i ended up creating a new vehicle by the time i tried this though, so what i did was i made the old one into a trailer and dragged it back. hopefully this works for most people, though ive read that some people's vehicles disappeared and they didn't even go anywhere hopefully they fix this soon, as its kind of disheartening. one thing that does work (for me so far) is puting the car on a lift and taking it off before i exit the game, like Rangerdude recommended.

You was right. It just gone forward and stuck in trees in my case. So glad it was just a bug.
My guess it is happened because engine activated while not being attached to driver seat.
