Help! is there a way to recover deleted world.

So my daughter felt like playing but since she cant read english she pressed delete world instead of play and i lost me 70 hours played world , wich i had everything . tranformer cars, a base that took me at least 50 hours to built with over 70 computer that controlled the whole house ... it was awesome and now im pissed ... so yeah anyway to recover deleted data ??

I have just maneged to get back my deleted world, you can go to your steam cloud ( https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage ), search for scrap mechanic and get everything from worlds to keybinds to characters.

Wow , necro tread , but still thanks for giving the advice!

That mistake thought me not to be scared to star over , i still had all the knowledge that i learned playing trough that save file, then the next one took me a third of the time to get to the same place, or even better!

alright im sorry for thread necro, but theres a program called undelete, it works even if theres nothing left in the bin,
you may be able to download that online and use that to recover your world, although its so old it may not function in this version of the game, its still useful for future reference.

check the bin, if it's not there, use an undelete program from the internet.

have the same problem but instead of world i accidently deleted my spaceship... i've wasted on this good 40hrs... last save was when i wasted on this only 7 of them... RIP my spaceship..
