Scrap Mechanic ERROR MESSAGE "Invalid checksum"

I get this error message when I try to join someones scrap mechanic game. Scrap mechanic works in singleplayer mode for me, but not on multipayer anymore. It have never been like this before, please help :( This is the error message that pops up when I try to do something with other players / multiplayer: "Invalid checksum for C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Scrap Mechanic/Data/Scripts (0)

This just started for me and my son. We both have the test version installed 0.3.0 build 362. Instead of scripts it says /Data/Objects/Database(1)

Not sure if it's related. It happens if either of us host.

when i try to play with my friends i have uninstaled and reinstaled but it dose not work it all started when i tryed the latest test with the spud gun.

I had this issue, and I fixed it! To resolve the issue, simply open the following directory, and compare its contents + subcontents with the same on your friend's computer:

C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\scrap mechanic\data\Objects\Database
- I have 4 files there, so did my friend
- but within that is another directory, ShapeSets. There, I had one more file than my friend did, interactive1.json. After moving that 'extra' file out to a totally separate directory, the issue was resolved

I'm not sure what the file was, or why it was there in the first place, but that resolved the issue with no loss of functionality.

The ShapeSets subdirectory should have 11 files in it by default. It's definitely ideal to compare the contents with whomever you're trying to play online with, but -- especially if that's not easily done -- just try moving out any 'duplicate' file with a 1 at the end of its name (like interactive.json & the one I moved, interactive1.json) and try joining the game again.

At the start, i have 5 json files, not 4. Wich ones is not supposed to be there? None have a (1) so its not a duplicate. (Help for the error message)

i have the same error but mine has the number 263 and there is no way that i or him has 263 duplicate files or call me retarded fr fr, i aint that stupid and i know how to code and i cant even figure this out because i can play single palyer but i cant play online what so ever which is super annoying to me adn my friend becauses we had changed some code like for the cookbot we upped the amount of food it makes from 1 to 3 because i think how annoying it is to get that stuff adn how much hunger you spend to even get the stuff is not worth it at all but still the stuff aint working and we cant figure a workaround, nor can we get any mods to work at all
