The issues you're talking about bother the hell out of me too so I designed circuits specifically to avoid them. They create a 1-tick pulse when an input of any length is received, and use that to toggle an XOR loop. Solves both problems.
So i did look at his SR Latch before (or Latch SR as he calls it) but the description (specifically the "Minimum 3 tick input for non destructive") threw me off, i thought it had the issue where to short of an input signal would cause it to spaz like all others, but turns out it doesnt.
(He mentions something in the comments about that line doing something for wavelength, but it goes way over my head lol)
So yea, great stuff, i do want a negative output on my SR Latch too, but thats super easy to add to his, so ima bscly recreate his version, with my styling & a extra output, then upload that and credit him ^^
Thanks again! :D
Edit: for anybody wondering/wanting one with a negative output aswell:

signal length doesn't matter. it doesnt flicker ever.
