Display is weird for some reason

Hi, I'd like to try out this game, it really has a special vibe to it, but for some reason the sides are like, 'cut down'. When I 'wake up', I guess it's supposed to write objective 1: use bathroom; but what I can see is: ve: use bathroom. Also, when I was at objective 3: chat with friends, I couldnt properly read the choices because about half of them were not on-screen. I tried changing the resolution and setting it to windowed mode, but nothing helped so far (in 1024x768 i could see "tive 1: use bathroom" instead of just "ve 1".
Any help?

I didn't find any fixes, so I had to play the game as-is. It was still really good, but I hope they fix this in the future.

Are you using a 4:3 monitor? If so, the game doesnt natively support 4:3 so you get the ends cut off

I had the same issue with 1024x768, but it seems to work fine using a windowed 1024x600 instead.

I had the same thing -- dropped the resolution to 1920x1080 from 1920x1440 and it was fine -- it likes to be wide. So try 1920x1080 (or probably another resolution of the same aspect ratio).

Had same issue, managed to get through the game with words cut off, although i wish i knew what the options for messagingon the computer said

Guys, this worked for me. Try different resolutions. Try ALL The resolutions.
