a very cool and unusual way of telling a story. it's about a girlfriend and murdering and about whatever you come up with.

weird game about a guy getting to hell and trying to calm down his anxieties
try out theese and maybe other games by its authours. also probably they are absolutely not what you were expecting :D
Stanley Parable and Gone Home are both very good, but they also feel a bit more "game-y" because there are more triggered events and stuff to do.
Only If was worth the price, considering it was free, but only a couple of the levels are really great - most of the game is pretty annoying and vapid.
I would highly recommend Drizzlepath as a purist walking sim, but be aware there is no storyline, just visuals. Proteus i also got surprisingly emotional over, even though it is set in a completely different universe to ours.
I have 4PM on my wishlist but the reviews are awful so i'm not sure if i should bother. NaissancE is on my backlog, but i haven't started yet because i'm worried it'll be too Myst-y... Still, i really dig all these artsy walking sims/shorts, they're my favorite thing to happen to gaming in the past few years.
Oh, and if you don't mind third person/text adventure interface instead of FPS, get Kentucky Route Zero. It is excellent.
