There's nothing wrong that's been done, they've got similar concepts but that's about it, there's plenty of game play/mechanic differences. Not to mention that pretty much everything has been done before across other games. Most games are inspired one way or another from others, it's how games evolve.
Surviving Mars isn't a copy cat of Sol 0..
please take my comment it with a grain of salt >D
I am not suggesting a lawsuit... have u read the rest of my comment?
On the other hand :D show me one game that uses the same ideas as Sol[0].
And don't come up with "every note has been played" music is all done there is nothing new ... :D
I love that arguement :)
Some1xx I rly wanted him to wake up and get something out of it - maybe there is a oppurtunity for him to get a job there. That's it. Nothing more - no harm done.
Cya :)
what did u mistunderstood :D
it's just an idea for solzero to join that team and get a cool job :)
Maybe together they can make Surviving Mars a better game that it already is.
THIS is what you said. What is there to misunderstand?
maybe I should put on irony tags on next time. Please learn to phrase in full context and not just pick up phrases that you feel right to support your claims. Of that we already have enough from in fake news :)
What is your goal? "THIS" is clearly not what I said. Please also read my last passage in my original post.
Don't ge me wrong - I just wanted to rattle solzero's cage.
Put on his shoes! What would you do in his place?
Also whats up with u two why so aggro, did I hurt ur feelings about the new game? I don't get it :D And what the hell happened to the netiquette in posting. It's like you both are rly exited about my post that you forget that my intentions were meant only good for the developer of Sol0 ;)
Regs,
Kaese
He's quoted you because you claimed you didn't suggest it and that he's missunderstanding you when there's no misunderstanding.
I'm not aggro/hurt, it's just a really stupid idea to think they should make a copywrite claim over litterally nothing. There's no copying of any kind, simple as that.
This copyright claim would get laughed of the court. But I think the dev of this game is smart enough to know that. I know you are going to come back and remind me that you said other things as well. Great! I'm sure the dev will appreciate your well wishes more so than your legal advice. But that still doesn't excuse your harsh and unfounded accusations of a studio that didn't do anything wrong.
What do you think - what should he do?
I ask both of you.
We're replying to you on the posts that you've made yesterday and today.. the original post isn't even a month old either.
WTF is wrong with you?
You suggested something really stupid, we pointed that out so you start telling us we misunderstand.
We quoted exactly what you said and you accuse us of picking out to back ourselves up
Soon as we explain that you go on to "necroing" which is laughable, even if old posts were being brought up it has nothing to do with anything that's been said.
I don't think anything about it, why should the dev do anything?
There is NOTHING wrong with Surviving Mars therefore there's NOTHING that he can or should do about it.
As for working for them...
"Mars Survival Advisor" - What in heck even is that? what Marse survival knowledge is he going to advise them with?
"Community Manager" - He's a flipping developer, he does programming, designing and such, just because he's got a Mars themed game that doesn't give him any skills for managing a community, by the sounds of it he's not even got the time to deal with his own games community.
Once again Some1xx laid out the facts and I have very little to add. I'm sure your advice to work for Paradox comes from a good place even if I don't think it makes sense. But that isn't what I had an issue with when reading your post.
*I mean they are the same game*
*I mean Paradox has copyed the game*
*I mean It would be funny if someone would sew them*
