Did not get "Run for your Life" or "Close Call" Achievements?

Did not get "Run for your Life" or "Close Call" even though I completed the objectives. Not sure what to do. Did the whole thing with the water filling up the tree and racing to the top and getting attacked by the owl, but missing the achievements still. I even went back to get a pick-up I missed halfway up the tree.

Since those are basic progression based achievements, the only thing I know that you could do is to start a new game and go through those parts again. Make sure your internet connection is on and stable when you do the story objectives. Reset it first if necessary.
