my save is all gone
i've lost all my save, the file on the localdisk c is still the same but for some reason it wont load in the game. just empty slots, soo i try solution from fintrol which is tell me to do like this :
""Ok, so this also happend to me yesterday and my solution only works if you did not start a new game yet.

Go into the Ori Savegame folder (C:\Users\*your-username-here*l\AppData\Local\Ori and the Will of The Wisps and copy everything thats in there into a Backup folder somewhere else on your PC.

After that, delete everything in the mentioned folder.
(All of that stuff regenerates after you start the game.)

Start the game now and start a new game.
Skip the intro and quit the game.

Now go into the backup folder where you copied the previous files.

There should be a file called 'saveFile0.uberstate'. (The '0' stands for the savegame slot. So if you started on slot 2, the file is called 'saveFile1.uberstate')

Copy that file into the original Ori savegame folder and overwrite the existing one.

Start the game, your savegame should now be back.

If you already started a new game on your previous slot, this method won't work because it already replaced that file.

*EDIT*
If you already started a new file, you can possibly use a backup file. Klick on the savegame in game and click on "Load from backup" (or something like that)

This method didn't work for me but maybe you have more luck""

but sill, the save just resetting when i load new game despite i follow these step ( replace the file on new save game with the old save that i got)
can someone help me?

fintrol did gave you a solution for the sequel Will of the Wisp (so wrong folder), you are posting in the prequel Blind Forest.

So check first which game you are actually playing and missing your savefile. Be aware that you get two versions with Blind Forest, the normal one and the DE version. Maybe you just opened the wrong version and you are fine by just starting the right game version? Check this first before continuing with anything below.

Definite Edition (usually played):
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Ori and the Blind Forest DE

Standard:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Ori and the Blind Forest

Check if any of the files names saveFile0.sav or saveFile0_bkup0.sav are there. The number is the number corresponding to your slot. File 0 is the first slot in the game. If those files are there, make a backup first to ensure not to loose them due to Steam cloud. if there are no such files, you are out of luck, but if so, continue after backing them up.

Then start a new game on an empty slot. Skip the introduction and save the game. Go back to the menu of the game. Now tab out of the game and replace the files now in the above folder with your backed up files (make sure they have the right number by renaming them, so if you used the first slot in the game, the nubmer of the files are 0, second slot -> 1 and so on). Then multitask back into the game and close the game. Now Steam should sync the save state to the server. After this, reopen the game and your old saves should be there and working properly.
