[SOLVED] Game-breaking bug? Sorrow Pass: ball stuck

I'm pretty sure I've encountered a game-breaking bug - the ball in Sorrow Pass is stuck for me just after I've bashed it through the door:

It's completely stuck right there, you can't push or pull it, and it doesn't budge a single pixel when I try bash. Obviously I need it to block the lasers so I'm screwed - all my backup saves are after this point, because I found it early on and didn't realise its significance, or that it would never respawn.

I've emailed my save to the developers at [e-mail] a couple of days ago and hope to hear back, but posting here too just in case there's something else I can do. Would kinda suck to have to abandon this game because of a bug.

You can use enemy projectiles to break through some of those sections you are supposed to use stomp on.

Thanks! I don't have air dash yet but I see it's in one of the new DE sections which I must have missed. I'll also try the projectiles although IIRC it's an awkward sequence to get them around the right corner in this case.

Lasers coming out of the ground with no apparent power source now isn't that interesting.

To close this loop, I got the Dash skill from the Black Root Burrows (I had gone there once before but thought I had to come back later with a light source ability or something) and used it to cheese past the laser trap just like in the gif. \o/

Hopefully the devs will fix this bug but at least I'm un-stuck. Thanks WolandPL!

It's a naughty bug, and we're looking into what might be causing it to happen. Unfortunately, it's not easily reproducible. You didn't do anything weird to get it stuck, did you?

I did bash it through the door from quite close I think, it may already have been drifting/falling that way enough but I bashed it again just to be sure, it had bounced back before. It's possible I exceeded some physics tolerance and embedded it in the floor somehow because of that?

And the second laser after the one you have to pass through with dash? The second ball is stuck on the hole, too...
