How to aim charged dash while sticking to the wall

I am trying to understand how to break walls with charged dash. I am seeing this in video on youtube, but I can't do the trick. Example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn9VJ6lYkc0
What I am doing on xbox controlller:

• Hold RT, so I am stick to the wall and don't fall down
  
• Hold LT to charge dash
  
• Point left stick to the right (in the direction of wall I want to break)
  
• Aiming UI doesn't appear (like on the video)
  
• I press RB to dash, Ori dashes in the direction to wall, but didn't break it

What am I doing wrong?

This is not charge dash, it's a different skill which you obtain late in the game (judging by your achievements, you're pretty close to getting it).

Sunflower is incorrect. In Ori and the Blind Forest, Charge Jump (what you're calling "charge dash," which is a different thing), where you can jump hard and fast after pressing and olding LT for a few moments, can also immediately be used to charge jump from a wall-hanging position. You don't need to hold down LT when you're stuck to the wall. Instead, you continue to hold RT to stick to the wall, then point the stick in the opposite direction of the wall you're clinging to until the aim UI appears, then you can move the joystick to aim directly at the spot where you want to jump and press B to jump.
