Anyone else dissapointed?
I got this game to relax and I'm finding it even harder than Castlevania but not nearly as fun. Anyone else feel like this game's not what they hoped?

Lol everyone who likes this game loves talking up their skills. Boring. Yeah, I didn't like the game.

Why would I be disappointed? The game is visually beautiful, it sounds gorgeous and it has responsive controls. The story, while not the most original, is executed well. As a metroidvania the game gives you new skills with a good pacing giving you something new to learn and try which keeps platforming fresh. There are secrets to encourage exploration. The game allows saving nearly anywhere as long as you have energy and there are save points located in good places, not too close to each other but not too far either and usually in areas where you wish you could recharge your energy, in case you are out of energy, additionally there are a few auto saves. The game also has achievements, some of which you can get easily just by playing through the game but some requiring more effort to get and can be fun for those who enjoy hunting achievements in games. Unlike the vanilla version, the Definitive Edition comes with several QoL improvements such as: difficulty settings, warping between spirit wells and better backtracking support for areas that were closed off in the vanilla version after clearing.

Overall I think it is a great game and really fun. Honestly speaking I would have harder time finding something to complain about the game than praising it.

However, I'm a little bit curious what kind of game you expected or hoped Ori and the Blind Forest to be like before you played it. You mention you wanted to play Ori to relax and you found it to be too hard for you and not fun. To me this sounds like your expectations for the game didn't match with the reality and that made you disappointed and not enjoying the game. Maybe? So, would you like to tell a little bit what kind of game you thought Ori was? Why you couldn't feel relaxed when playing it and what parts of the game you found too hard for yourself and was there something that especially stood out as something that wasn't fun for you or you didn't enjoy?

Why would you buy an action platformer video game to 'relax'?
It's your own damn fault for not doing research about what the game is.

The game was /exactly/ what I expected, and turned into one of my favorite games period.

you should've chose a game like flower, Journey or Gris. Ori is visually relaxing and appealing but is not supposed to be easy

I was very disappointed too. I played it, thinking it would be like Hollow Knight, but it's not nearly as good. The game is visually stunning and the soundtrack is really nice, but I didn't really like the gameplay.
