STUCK AT PURPLE GATE ON MOUNT HORU GLITCH

one of the two purple gates didn't open as i defeated the enemy in it and he doesn't respawn, i heard it's a glich, any tips on how to get trough it without having to play it all over again? i'm really disappointed

Did you kill all the enemies in the room?

Try using the backup saves if you can, and also verifying the integrity of the game cache. If those don't work, due to the Steam Cloud saves, you could uninstall and re-install the game and still keep your save data. Or else contact the devs via the pinned topics. I've not heard of that glitch before.

**edit** NVM i havn't killed all the enemies in the room :P then it opens

I'm also stuck at one of the purple gates..

Tried restarting & verifying integrity of the game cash, gate still won't open.
I don't have any earlyer saves so I guess I'm screwed

Just kill few creatures which spit fire, then the gate will open. Check this video:

im in the same boat, i could not use previous saves because they didnt go far back enoug, now i have no other option but to restart the whole f ing game :(

Did you kill all of the enemies in that room? That's how the second gate opens.

Yeah, it opens when you kill all the enemies in the room. You should first make it to the end of the room and kill all of them one by one while going back. I've no idea how the devs expeted the players to understand this on their own :/
