You mean wall jump.
Just hold the jump button longer to get more height

and not forget to push Ori toward the wall performing Wall Jump. Tolerances are good and I had no issues here.

Played the game several times with a controller. No issues there. Maybe it is something with your controller model.

Since this game was first designed for XBox One, it should be easier to control with a controller than with the keyboard. Can you describe the exact trouble you're having?

Perhaps i just suck at games, (which i do mostly lol)...i keep missing it and have to jump like 20 times to get up a little bit and then fall down and have to start over...i'll try again and try to work on the timing of it...thanks :)
