Valley of the Wind mapstone
Trying to get to the mapstone where you have to bash the exploding beast into the wall. Watched all the videos, seems simple enough. However, the enemy keeps blowing up in my face, immediately after releasing bash.

Watched videos, tried with/without jumping, nothing works.

Can't seem to find any posts on this online...other people not having difficulty with this? Never had issue with bash so far...am I doing something wrong? Please advise, thanks.

Using Bash brings him too close as you found out, so when the Ram rushes me I usually Triple Jump to the right and up just above the weak wall, that way I'm above him and out of harm's way when he destroys it.

Not sure what you mean. I was under the assumption you need to bash the enemy to get him flying towards the barrier, else he would just fall down to the spikes? Have tried jumping towards the barrier, but it wouldn't chase me there, I'm not sure it can.

Decided to just skip that part for now, but am again stuck at Kuro encounter, where I have to bash one of these enemies to a similar barrier...

Okay...just managed to do it for Kuro escape, and immediately after, the mapstone as well, on the way back up...

Still no idea what I did wrong...

My bad, I was thinking the first weak wall for the Map Fragment. Chalk it up to seasonal fatigue.

Yes, you do need to Bash the third Ram to get him to jump the gap. Make certain that you're not standing at the very edge but at the second to last step before the gap. It's a matter of timing and placement. I still get occasional Bash timing mishaps.

Normally, this happens because you used Bash too late. There's a large window beforehand when you can press it and it will work. But still, those green enemies come so fast it's hard to time.

i have the exact same problem and it drives me crazy. tried it a thousand times! the stupid swine explodes ALL THE TIME right where i am. theres no chance to yeet it somwhere.
and i observed that ori moves in the direction of the swine, when i click the right mouse button, that doesnt help either. but this little movement isnt under my control.
i tried standing in different spots. i tried jumping above the rolling swine. i tried standing under the swine, when it rolls over an edge.
and yes i even tried clicking "longer beforehand", but either it just flies just past me or explodes right by me. theres no inbetween.
i saw different videos, it looks so easy.
but i couldnt yeet it just a SINGLE time! it explodes in my face every single time!
pls help!

Bash is ground slam right? I simply used the dash skill thingy where you dash through projectiles and enemies. The one you use as a 'grapple', it works on these enemies as well. So you fly yourself away from the wall and the enemy will hurl towards it.

Stomp is the ground slam; Bash is the grapple skill for enemies and projectiles.
