Charge dash problem

I've read other threads about this and i still don't understand how charge dash works. I'm getting frustrated because i just can't figure out how to do it. I feel stupid but could someone please explain wtf do i need to do

Hold w if you use keyboard Ori will begin to charge then press ctrl while holding w to perform charge dash. Charge dash will lock on nearest enemy, if no enemy nearby Ori still able to charge dash.
You can perform charge dash while in the air for many times as long as you still have energy.

I looked at the abilities, and i assume i have to have dash unlocked to use charge dash?

Of course. All the things in the Ability Tree are just upgrades for your existing skills that you have to find in the game before they will take effect. Some of them even make you find the skills before you can purchase the upgrades, they just didn't add that restriction to Charge Dash for some reason.

Charge dash and dash are two seperate unrelated abilites. Yeah in DE you can purchase upgrades that you can't use. charge dash is done by holding LT then pressing A. if you're climbing you can move the joystick away from the wall to then jump.

That's Charge Jump. For Charge Dash, you hold LT and push RB.
