Green Rhino's

Hello, I have been trying to bash the green rhino into the green stone wall at the Valley of the Winds to access the stone tablet thingy, but when I release the bash he always explodes. I can't seem to flick him as a missile. What am I doing wrong?

It's hard to guess without seeing what is happening but there are two possibilities that comes to my mind. 1) You are too close to ground or other surface and it explodes on contact or 2) you are launching rhino to wrong direction by accident (Ori goes to where the arrow points, everything else goes to opposite direction). I kinda doubt it'd be the second option because the Ginso Tree makes you practice bash a lot with projectiles.

If you haven't tried using bash on rhinos in the air and without any obstacles nearby then give it a try and see where it goes. If it explodes in the air then the only thing I can think of is that it somehow it takes contact with Ori before you hit bash button and shows the explosion when you release it. Do you lose any health when it explodes? Either way if it somehow explodes in the air and seemingly without a reason then try if you can use bash slightly earlier.

If those ideas don't help then I'd like to see how it happens so it'd help if you could maybe record a few seconds video of it and that might give hints what's happening. As far as I know those green rhinos shouldn't explode without a reason.

maybe you're aiming a little too close to the ground? I guess you could also try making a little jump just before he reaches you so you're sure he's not too close to the ground...

You should wait until you released the element of wind. Then it is easy to trigger the rhino from below and you are in a much better position to push poor little rhino into the wall.
