I bought Definitive Edition but got two games!
I got Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition.

I'm right that I only play the Definitive Edition right?

So does OBF:DE has extra contents to OBF?

Play the original, too, see how it all started. I get a lot of replay value from the original.

I tried adding the Definitive Edition to cart but it says I won't receive another copy of Ori and the Blind Forest if I decide to purchase it which sucks.
You won't receive another copy because you already have it.
And you have to decide if it's worth it for you.

I prefer to only have the Definitive Edition and they should implement the trading card collection in it (although I don't really care that much about that).
It just look a little strange having the same game in my inventory twice. As a great man once said:
"I never asked for this".

If you don't want to have the original on your account, I believe there is a way to remove it on the steam support.

You can hide the normal Ori version (rightclick game "hide") or you can totally remove it completely via Steam support.

There are minor gimmicks that are only in the original version. So I played both of them just for fun :)

I only played the original version, can you explain what is only in that version and not in the DE?

The original has nothing that the DE doesn't have (aside from trading card drops lol), it is the same game after all... DE just has some more content.

He said something about "minor gimmicks" so that would interest me.

For example they got rid of the information where the last picture in the credits is coming from. In the DE there is nothing about it anymore. Just a small minor thing, but was still a "ah, nice to know" moment :)

I am rather curious if it's a glitch or not because I just purchased it and started downloading the definitive version and how has anyone responded to this happening what they did?
