Sorrow Pass Spirit Gate Question
OK, so I tried to open this Spirit Gate in Sorrow Pass and discovered I missed a secret room with a key stone in it (way back up at the top with the room with all the thorns). But if you look at the screenshot, there's really nothing on either side of that gate. I've been all around it. Is it necessary to unlock that gate to further the game?

You can leave it closed, but check if there's something to grab on both sides cause I don't remember, lol

The bit of floating area? The entrance is hidden. You can't see it until you enter it.

You enter from below, from the room with all the spikes and the purple slime things that drop on you.

Nothing on either side and I really did not want to have to go get that key. Was so glad when I got through that room!
