Misty Woods Question

Can someone tell me what triggers the "walls" to appear and disappear? I thought it was pressing "A" to jump but I am making my way up the vertical shaft with alternating "walls" that go in and out. When I jump on the ground they go out and in but when I try to jump from one side of the wall to the other side of the wall they don't change.

yeah the jump is the trigger. If you could post a screenshot of where you are so I'm sure it's the right place, it'd be nice

Thanks but I just made it. I had to actually slide up the "wall" and balance on top and jump from there. When I was trying to jump mid-air it wasn't working.

If I recall correctly, the wall dissapears upon jumping off the ground. I'm not too sure about wall jumps.

They trigger on base jumps (whether they be on the ground or walls) but not doublejumps.
