How to unlock levels

If you play the first maps enough times (3) it should unlock the next level. The more games you play, the more you can unlock levels, characters, and outfits. If you're not unlocking stuff and you've been playing for a while, please let us know! You can send us the save file to [e-mail] and we can check it out.

Also, the unlocks appear in levels that have question marks floating in front of them in the treehouse lobby. The unlocks are boxes hanging from balloons. You need to find a way to popp the balloons to actually acquire the unlock. You can pop the balloons by touching them, or using things like arrow shooters or spinning saws.

Also, unlockables are not correclty implemented in the online beta at this point. You will need to be playing in the regular version of the game to get them reliably.

Every time it's been a level unlock, I've never had an issue unlocking (local play) with my friend. Unfortunately, when I unlock pieces of clothing or wearable items (example, my raccoon buddy got a crown) it's not saving it. I'm going to try to test once more to see if for cosmetics you must absolutely go main menu and then from there desktop (keyboard/controller snafu listed on other discussion board).

I'm having fun either way, but the bigger bugs do detract slightly from local next to the beta. Has GDC been fun for the crew? :)

I´ve been playing for a while now and no new levels appear for me.
I Still need to unlock the bunny,the iceberg map,the party and one with moving blocks but no question marks appear in the levels anymore

I don't know when the last time you tried it was, but for a little while we've changed the game to save immediately after you hit the box and get the item. If something's not unlocking then make sure that:

1) If you're playing online, it's unlocking for you. Unlocks online are per-person and not for everyone in the game. The text should tell you the Steam username of the person it's for.

2) If it's local, if possible and if you haven't done it yet (I haven't checked lately if you have) please send the saveData.uch file and the output_log.txt files found in the game's data folder to [e-mail] as Kyler suggested.

Yes, it works in local party as long as you're playing the default treehouse maps and not the custom community made ones in the underground Level Loader.
