Good for LAN parties?

I'm hosting a lan party in a week or so, I might be blind, but I didn't really see the details on this, I see there is online and local multiplayer, but is there LAN play as well and if so, is 4 the max number of people for both local and LAN?

4 is the max for both local and lan. Lan would be done via the manual connection option, using local IPs. Though really I would suggest just to all play on one screen as that is the experience we are trying to replicate with the online mode.
