Mac version does not work at all.

In the Mac version, Party Mode does not work at all. The cursors and characters don't show up and you can't advance further from the party box screen. The level select screen works fine. In Creative Mode the game gets stuck on the inventory screen, meaning the cursors disappear.

This is happening for me as well from OSX 10.11.5 using Logitech F310 controllers. Submitted a bug report and emailed log file.

Yeah, tried that. Didn't work. I e-mailed them back however. Hopefully it'll be fixed next time I try.

I had a chance to try the game running on my mac and was able to find a way to reproduce the bug and hopefully give you a solution.

Please follow the instructions listed at the following link to get to the saveData.uch file on your computer http://www.cleverendeavourgames.com/outputlog

Once you find it, Right Click -> Get Info

Go down to the bottom of the info panel where it says Sharing and Permissions. Make sure that it is set to Read & Write for the users that might play Ultimate Chicken Horse.

I was able to reproduce your bug by setting permission to read only.

Let us know if that fixes your problem!

Unfortunately, no.. It was already set to Read & Write.

Hey Rob,

I did some more testing and found a different Steam Cloud sync issue that could be the cause of your problems. I've implemented a change that should help the situation, but it might not fix it.

Please follow the Mac instructions listed on this page http://www.cleverendeavourgames.com/outputlog to get to your saveData.uch file. If there is a folder called saveData.uch with a file called saveData.uch inside of it. Please rename the folder saveData.uch to saveDataFolder.uch. Then copy the saveData.uch file out of the folder and paste it beside the saveDataFolder.uch folder. You can now delete the saveDataFolder.uch folder.

Start up the game and let us know if that fixes your problem.

We will work on making sure this bug won't happen this week.
