READ THIS BEFORE PLAYING IN MULTIPLAYER MODE

1.When you starting game "Rake" from the steam you need to select "Rake Multiplayer"
2.You can to create server or connect to created server
3.If you have slow internet connection
or low system requirements, please do not create server
P.S(Because players will have lags in the game)
4.if you dont have unique "white" IP-Address then you might to employ such programms as Tunngle or Hamachi to create a local connection with players

scrap that im blind it says it on the server hosting main screen think it's 2500 as standard....although it does have the pc's private ip address? I'm guessing the public ip address should be used for remote connection and not the pcs?

I have test the multiplayer and when you died, you have the choice to respawn in rake or hunter but the rake is blocked :/

The game presenting your internal adress is ok, it's up to the router and port forwarding to redirect incoming packets on port 2500 to that internal IP, where the server software can listen for it. This only goes for inbound traffic (generally), outbound shouldn't require any additional steps.

So ya, the external (I assume that's what you mean with 'public') IP adress is what people that are not on your network connect to in order to join the game.

thought as much...just never seen a game present the internal ip for me (usually just use ipconfig)

Use IPv4 and the port is 2500. If it is not working try disabling your firewall
