Obvious Design Flaws + Basic Tips
This game is probably dead and the work on it abandonded, but in case the developer reads this, here are some things that should be patched:
-Shielder should receive a shield themselves, at this time you need to place two together
-You should be able to respec Credits/Commander XP
-The game should indicate what enemies come with the next wave, not the current
-When you complete a level, you automatically should get completion for lower difficulties
-All commanders should receive XP
-Plasma rain should last longer or have a shorter cooldown
-Nerf Queens


Now for some Credit tips:
First get the max upgrade of the turrets you use, after that put some into energy charge rate, max capability, and maybe drones. Defenses are also good.
The basic towers i worked with most are slow, shields, anti-air and flamer.
With these you can set up nests and do damage over time.
If the map allows it, laser turrets are the top-choice.
As single target I prefer the Sniper as it has a long range and area damage,
and Orion as its very useful to stall enemies.


Commander:
Play the second campaign first, which goes to the right when the path splits.
It only has 5 levels and you unlock Juggernaut, the best commander.
With his Stronghold charge, Generators and Energy drones you can fire a nuke very often.
His tech aura imcreases range.
Skills: LVL2: Jump(Active), LVL3: A bomb with damage over time (Active),
LVL6: Power Charge when idle (Passive), LVL7: Double Shots (Active), LVL10: ? (Active), LVL13: ? (Active), LVL 16: ? (Active), LVL20: ? (Active)
Max Guns and tech.

Hyperion is second. He needs less activeness, and enemies dying inside aura gives sentinel.
Spamming Ion bomb is a good way to kill enemies, but later Stronghold is more powerful.
Skills: LVL2: Jump (Active), LVL3: Invincibility (Active), LVL5: Repair when idle (Passive),
LVL7: Drain Health (Active), LVL10: Slowing shots (Passive), LVL13: Shield turrets (Active)
LVL16: Repair Drone (Passive), LVL20: Slow enemies for a short time (Active)
Max guns and tech.

Artemis comes last, her tech aura improves damage.
Skills: LVL2: Jump (Active), LVL 3: Invincibility (Active),
LVL5: Charge attack when idle (Passive), LVL7: Damage nearby enemies (Active),
LVL10: An automatic sniper (Passive), LVL13: Increased meelee damage (Active),
LVL16: Improved armour? (Passive), LVL20: Nuke (Active)
Max strength and guns.
