the description of the bonus material is in the help game - the "F2" key or the "?" icon in the bottom menu - or in main menu on right top corner is "HELP" button..
It's in the section - 04 - Stats -> Material bonusses.
The help is older (we will supplement), but some information is helpful.
For instance, the sword icon with the red tip or the happy face on food items? Among others.
I have to say though, awesome game! I played Wurm from the beginning and this has the potential to be better! Keep it coming!
Wiki is not - we do not have time to create it now (and especially things are still changing) :)
This can maybe help:

Red sword with red slide bar (on top - under tier/quality slide bar):
its decay of item
Red sword in bonuses (bottom):
This is an indication of how much is reduced the damage/decay of the item during use.
The figure above -0.5 meaning that if it's current decay is 2%, but the used material reduces decay by 0.5% = resulting decay is 1.5% instead of 2%.
Happy face: how much will add this item to the stamina
Thanks for that description of how the -0.5 is calculated too, very helpful! :)
