How to report bugs/issues
Hi there,

some of you guys may run into a bug or another issue at some point. We require you to provide some information to properly analyse and help you with the problem.


Reporting the bug
Ideally you describe what happened and what you did to make it happen.

The following steps are not neccessary for simple bugs. They mostly apply to severe, maybe gamebreaking problems. It never hurts to add them to your report tho.
Both kinds of reports can be shared at a file host or pastebin of your choice.

Submit the AIInvasion Logfile
The logfile is recreated every time A.I. Invasion is started. So if you encounter a bug, make sure to save the file before you restart the game. If you already restarted the game, try to reproduce the issue to make it appear in your new logfile. You can find the clients logfile in:
\Steam\SteamApps\common\A.I. Invasion\AIInvasion_Data\output_log.txt

Submit the DxDiag Report
Your problem may be related to your computers soft- or hardware setup. The dxdiag report gives us information about your hardware configuration allowing us to figure out compatibility issues with A.I. Invasion. You can generate and save the dxdiag report of your machine following these simple steps: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/run-directx-diagnostic-tool

Since last Update (10/01/2015) , all Menu-Items and Buttontexts replaced by it´s placeholders (LV_C1_Moon_Bunlkers, LV_Global_Back for example)

Hi there, thanks for your report!
We added language support and this might be the result of an invalid language setting. Can you please try to set a different language in the games options (rightclick on game > properties > language). See if the game is displayed in a valid language then.

If this does not solve the problem, please try to delete all local files and reinstall the game.

Nothing worked. Still placeholder visible after languagereset + deleting the content + reinstall.

I see,

it would help us to have a look at the error log of your game client. It is located in the install directory of the game, eg.:
D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\A.I. Invasion\AIInvasion_Data\output_log.txt

You can attach it to an email to info@ai-invasion.net or upload it to a pastebin of your choice and post the link to this thread.

I was interested in this game but seeing post release reviews there are still bugs and the controls are horrible... so I will hold out with buying. Please let me know if there is some update coming or can removed this game from my wish list as there is no sense in waiting for some significant improvements?

well I guess no interest in this game by developer anymore (same as their other game AI Space Corps)
