what am a doing wrong or where am i spouse to be going to.

It is a climbing puzzle. There is a path up the wall, but you really have to seek it out, use the walls and jump against them in the right places for example.

Its its been fun up til now, 2/3 the way up the wall on the left hand side and been their for 2 hours trying to move forward.

You have perhaps reached the thin slanted horizontal rails on the left side of the wall?

I'm going to guess that's where you're at, cos it's the last hard bit. Solution is actually on the right side of the wall. There's a vertical slab, tilted a bit, about 2/3rds to the right side. You have to jump from the right side of it, not onto the top of the little ledge on that, but onto the outside slanted face of the ledge, and then you will be able to shimmy up from there.

Some people complained it was too easy, others get stuck in it... Blame our level designer ( who did a great job with the minimal toolset I gave him )...
