Perhaps this is specific to an issue with my computer, but it's also worth noting that is the only item in my steam library (300+ games/apps) and many more non-steam programs that doesn't run on my computer.
thanks Genkisan has Audials Moviebox 12 Jul 28 @ 4:49pm
Same problem. Does not start but I found a temporary fix.
Opening Splash logo appears for a brief second and then nothing.
Seems the problem is only with the Installer for the Steam version. Maybe the problem is also within the registry but I haven't looked into that yet.
But for now this is a temporary fix:
Open the Audials Moviebox 12 installation folder by right clicking Audials Moviebox 12 in your Steam client library, then click on Properties, then click on the Local Files tab and then click on Browse Local Files... When you are in the installation folder, search for and open a file called AudialsWebInstaller.exe
You will be instructed for a new setup. Choose the Advanced Installation and continue. A download will begin for the newest version of Audials One. When it's done downloading choose the Standard installation and browse to install the program into your Audials Moviebox 12 folder located in your Steam folder.
After the installation is finished, open Audials Moviebox 12 and register your product and enter your Serial key to activate the Audials Moviebox 12 license.
You can now open Audials Moviebox 12 through Steam without any further problems.
Enjoy. :)

It seems like a lot of people are having this issue.
Don't tell people that it's fixed, when it clearly isn't working.
Buying something of Steam that doesn't start up? I would have a very hard time recommending this software until i have at least tried it.
The result is the same as countless other people are saying.
Short popup of the logo (maybe visible for 0,1sec or something), then nothing at all.
I'm running Win7 64bit. My Steam game directory is on D:\ (not the default c:\).
Oh well, guess Steam will have to refund another copy of this crappy software.
You need to run manually AudialsWebInstaller.exe (location: Program files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Audials Moviebox 12) and wait till application downloading and installing.Should work after that.
