Put exceptions into your AV for EAC to run proper.

Ok, no worries, go to crossout folder and find the run file, proceed with repair or install from their prompts. Or re-install crossout should re-install EAC.
I see they are owned by Epic now. Things changed, apologies.
After a formal uninstall, by all means delete all remaining folders, might have to redo your settings for your PC (C:\Users\<nickname>\Documents\my games\ or ...\AppData\Roaming\).
