I do agree the original company needs to either make a sequel, or sell the rights so someone else can. If anyone suggests Armored Core, please, dive under water, and inhale deeply.
MWO feels watered down compared to mechwarrior in general and even more so if you play battletech
one day I hope a descendant of that game comes round and reignites that passion again. used to love my Scout mech "The Guilotine" wheel base 3x high powered Sniper rifles used to 1 hit kill with a conector shot below the cockpit from the top of a mountain or call in an artillery bombardment from Blacktoenail and wipe a grid sector of the map. sooo much fun and soo in depth
Welp.. any luck trying M.A.V.
Its no longer access on steam and sub 2k Discord users is concerning for me that Dev and slowed or been lost
It looks like the developer is just fine being a tiny niche game, from what I'm seeing. Which probably means it will never be "finished."
Hell, the lead dev isn't even flagged as a mod on their official reddit thread. Looks like he's just fine and happy being small-time in his discord.
Dev pulled it from steam because of... reasons. Best guess seems to be they disliked the 33%% Steam cut and felt that support/visibility Steam provided wasn't worth it.
