Auto Assault 2016? yes please.

I miss the old Auto Assault MMO. Yeah, it had its problems, but it was a great concept, Could this be a sucsessor to that MMO? We will see.

Came here to post the same. I remember being pretty excited opening the world map in Auto Assault and then being able to drive across a ruined America.

I'm hoping, but it sounds like this game is going to be another team death match game for a while... I was really hoping for an Ex Machina game, which is technically the prior (single-player) game of this nature done by this developer.

Yeah seems more like post apocalyptic Robocraft than anything open world. Too bad so sad. Although when they call it a MMO you'd HOPE they have more than just arenas..?

Aw, I was hoping it would take after Auto Assault as well. I gotta be honest, I didn't know anybody else remembered that game. Never seen anybody talking about it anywhere else until now. It's a real shame about that game. It was super innovative for an MMO of its time, and nothing quite like it has come out since. It's too bad all the resources were kept server-side, making a private server impossible to run.

I've informed them dozens of times and yet they still sell the damn games.

Auto assault was such a huge failure its nice to see devs repeat the same mistake 10 years later.

PvE is not unlimited sadly. You must use "fuel" which has X amount of limit of missions depending on the limit, maximum you get would be 200 fuel. Easy missions for example (at least the ones I found) costed 10 fuel a mission. Now when you get to higher difficultys you consume much more like medium missions would require 40. I feel that this is very unfair I was hoping for it to be a PvE Autoassault like game. (Tho I never actually had the chance to play that game when it was out.) But it'd be nice if that was reverted and PvE would be unlimited...

auto assault-- or even older - auto duel.... but with first person play would be nice..
id rather have a game i could play offline or co-op where you transported goods and had to out gun or out drive bandits along the way- thats what auto duel was..

I played a lot of Auto Assault, just found this game and sadly doesn't interest me. If they had an open world system I'd be more open to purchasing it.

if you take a fuel barrel on your build in pvp and you survive with it intact you can earn fuel that way. also, fuel is much cheaper than copper, so if you wanted to do pve indefinitely you could sell the copper you earn to buy more fuel.
