Not earning Scrap Metal

As the title states i havent been earning any scrap metal since last night. I have now ranked up from level 7 to level 8. WIth the recent update i figure it would fix the issue but after playing a few games i still havent earned any.

Well how it gets sorted, games fun and im still playing but hey i would like to get craft some shiny stuff,

you reached the timeed limit of 5250.. as you go to choose a battle type hover you mouse over the scrap reward and you will see the time left before you can earn more...

the timer does not stop you buying from the market though.

Taipan is right. You've reached the daily limit of scrap that can be earned in battles. You can get in the market or just wait till the time finishes.

Play Raid modes for copper to sell for coins, then buy scrap metal with them.

Otherwise do 'season' missions, or bring fuel tank into a pvp match to gain fuel for pve gamemode.

So i just jumped into the game hovered over the scrap and it says i need to wait 2 days some odd hours before i can earn scap again via playing just playing the game. Whats the time frame for earing the 5250 scrap?

All i know is that waiting 2 days really puts a damper on my spirit for playing the game. Setting a limit on what seems to be the main item needed in the game is a bit obserd.

My suggestion to change this is to just give out lower amounts earned from matches. Now im fairly new to the game as i have only bee playing for a couple weeks and am not sure what stages of your development you have already gone through to get here.

i agree with ReKless, i play two day the game( it was fun till you run out of scrap) and now i need to wait a other 3 day to get any scrap....(this give me less intrest to play the game further)because you get beaten every day over and over just because i cannot make a stronger car -NO SCRAP-yea you can buy them from market but then you need gold and for new player its hard.(and the prices for selling 0.01..... pffff

As I know it changed since 2016 to daily limit of 500 or more amount of scrap that you can earn due combats. In additional you can complete daily tasks and earn extra scrap. BTW you can try to finish weekly tasks and exchange badges for resources... It's enough...

You can also play in the other PvP modes if you can get a build up to or above 4000 or 5000 Power Score. Wires and Batteries both are useful and can be sold too :)

This mechanic is set to maintain the value of the resource and the parts made from it. 5250 scrap is enough to construct more than 10 Rare parts in a week, and allowing people to just grind it non-stop would easily oversaturate the market. The game economy is designed to persuade players to play regularly, rather than grind for 4+ hours a day, and to switch between different PvP and PvE modes.

For your personal preference to play more to earn the same, there will be hundreds of players, who simply cannot afford playing as much as you do. Be more realistic about the options given to you. Since you're a new player, an important advice is to get a Fuel Barrel and Fuel Tank (one of each), which will provide you with Fuel resource as long as these parts survive any PvP Mission match. It will teach you to be more careful and cooperative, and will offer a fairly steady income of coins if you do not like PvE raids.
