2 step authentication with steam?

It's possible, it didn't work for me when i did it in my browser but when i entered my email in the ingame settings and did the things that popped up in the steam browser it worked for me.

I gave up months ago trying to get it to work, tried everything as suggested by multiple posts but still no luck.

Ok, if your 2 stepping through steam, you cannot have a gaijin account. Some steam accounts cannot be linked to a gaijin account. Thats what the issue was for me.

I had to 2 step link an email from the settings menu in game, but customer support told me, the email i had to use, could not be linked to a gaijin account already, i had to make a new email.

Also customer support had to undo any prior 2 step attempts. Thats what worked for me.

Don't listen to people jumping on here telling you " GOoD LuCk" they're just mad because they failed to follow instructions and now they troll the forums.

Steam Market has never ever failed me before ,and only way I have heard people get scammed through Steam , Is when they listen to someone in chat who says"OOps I did something bad and I put You on a report ,for scamming Me in a Trade deal...and then You go and follow the FAKE report that leads You to the scam site ,where YOU type in YOUR vital passwords and account INFO...STEAM Market works fine any other time.

Yeah it's possible, thats what i had to do. HOWEVER, if you have already tried to 2 step with an email, that is linked to a gaijin account, you HAVE to contact customer support and undo this. Once your in the clear, use an email that is NOT linked to a gaijin account, and do it from the in-game settings menu, that worked for me.

The scam is not steam, the scam is an app that they have to enable 2step aut.

I was making that point exactly, That the STEAM MARKET Has never let me down ,and the only way it was scammed by ,was someone lying to someone else and leading them away to sites seperate from Steam, That was the scam and NO it was NOT Steam.

ALSO! just to note ,That my Battle -Pass I paid 13$ transaction was made to Crossout without 2SA and everything was fine with the deal..."EXCEPT" Crossout robbed me for the terms of the agreed Battle -Pass..."I Believed"...I was paying for, and they shorted me for my Deal Items as "AGREED" in their Terms and conditions of the Sale. They LIED about what I received to get me to sign into 2 Step Authorisation ,That's all the Moderators came on to encourage me to do...but that's the scam!!! ...Never trust them...I cannot and STEAM Market is fine.

it's very hard to complete the process unless you use an apple/android phone to do it. i was going to do it but then when i actually saw the process i decided not to.
