Fastest progress with a faction, tips?

If I want to level quickly with a faction, is it enough to just "join" them or do I need to be sporting their bling as well?

Only way boost faction reputation you are leveling is add some decor items/part or faction flag your vehicle to increase reputation bonus end of match.

Those Co-Drivers get reputation when you select them ride with you, no need use same faction Co-Drivers what you are leveling if you don't want.

To unlock Co-Driver you need atleast 1x time to join their faction.

No no... Flag is also decor part but it time limited how long you can use it.

Normal blue "rare" flags 3days and purple "epics" 2h, epics give better % but last smaller time.

But how do I get that co-driver?

Not sure if its my imagination, but i'm pretty sure using faction weapons contribute to that factions XP. I wouldn't quote me on this, but i swear i get more faction XP when using the Lunatic shotguns than i do when i use, say, AC's. Pretty sure it's the same with spitfire's too which are Engineer shotguns. But i haven't exactly measured it scientifically.

Once you open faction you instantly get the co-drver, then you can select it from botton buttons, the left hand one.

But the exp bonus only comes after you levelled that co-driver for about level 8 which takes time. See the skills the co-pilot has.

Flags and stardards are handy for levelling but are you still doing your first faction, engineers, you might not easily afford standard. While you can cheaply get engineer flag, by buying the about 0.2 gold priced crates which may contain them. Getting about 10 crates you get you maybe 2 flags, but that's only for engineers.

There is no bonus for using faction gear. Only flags, standards, decoration items and co-pilot will give boost ,as well as the daily boost.

There is an exp cap as well, having decals just means you hit the daily cap sooner
Decals are good for the more casual player

There is no daily EXP cap, the only cap is your daily bonus, which is set at 400% till you reach 60,000 exp, at which point the max exp you can receive before bonuses per match is 1,300. You can take that up even further by adding decals up to an extra 25%, and flags ranging from 25% to 100% depending on the flag. So actually, the decals and flags benefit the grinders more than the casual players.
