How to buy purple/orange items off the market?

I'm able to buy grey and blue items but not purple and orange. Anybody know why? I've seen in videos some people are able to buy at least purples, so how come I can't? Thanks.

What do you mean you can't buy them? Whats the difference in the process? Where does it gets stuck?

It doesn't give me the option to buy them. I don't see any, nor when I right click on them in the tech tree it doesn't give me the option to buy them either.

What level are you on engineers? I don't know the exact details but I know that for everything you need a certain level, probably even buying certain things on market.

you need level up to unlock them weapons

you need to be level 10 in engineers for purples, guessing level 5 or 10 in another faction for oranges
