What I learned by joining a pay to win clan,..

Recently I joined a known pay to win clan to see if they really were pay to win,..
The answer is yes, they depended completely upon players with dual scorpions that were purchased.
I saw no particular skill displayed even in the use of those weapons.
But it was enough of a crutch to make them "competitive" .
Also, I found that they seemed to all possess the attitude that they were all aces of the game, and voiced the feeling that they deserved to win and deserved the semi-level of accomplishment in clan battles they managed to get their rating to.
Oddly they were ok people to be around, yet had a total disconnect when it came to any sense of fair gameplay or basic right and wrong when it came to gaming.
The level of absurd self-justification was astounding.
Of the clan I saw only 2 members with actual impressive skills, these players though did not partake of clan wars because of lack of relic items bought by the others.

My question answered I left the clan as I found it, no hard words, no in your face judgments to members to hurt anybody's feelings.
In closing,..

If you wish to get skilled, be a solid performer and gain any form of respect for your play I highly recommend avoiding such clans.

P.S.
I do not view the purchase of game packs /vehicle packs as even a bad thing , but as all things in moderation, in extreme cases such as this it is bad for the game, bad for real players, and sadly even worse for those that abuse the system to the point of pay to win.

While the outside world may be totally immoral and the "money privileged " may justify their self-gratification at the cost of others in that world as just and fair by way of money expended, one should hope to find a gaming experience devoid of that major moral flaw and simply be a fair game for ALL to play.

Spending money is not the problem here, devs need money + some people rather pay than grind for hours. The problem is that the scorpion is way to good for its tier.
Have you ever seen complains about the firebug or the porcupine?
(you can look at this like you want either Scorpion OP or Firebug / Porcupine underpowered)

Sure attitude of players matter, but again thats not the games fault, assh*les exist everywhere no matter their social status , item, cars, house etc....

i tend to disagree if they offered the weapon in a pack sure np,would still need rebalanced...but making it as it is , with resourcses limited to having to buy them with cash equaling at min 1200 dollars,.. it is beyond making money and into pay to win.
not s single scorpion in the game was crafted by a player earning via personal play the materials to craft one being purchased that is a fact..."or gotten through a content creator account.
when devs are selling coins for 100 bucks for 7500 coin and vehical packs they are making money , they don't need to make it a thing where they are offering only rich people pay to win items on top of it.
In fact they are costing themselves money by loss of players due tro imballance, and fi they offered these top teir weapons in weapon packs they would have hundreds buying them expanding the PS range, making game play more fair, and would net more income,..this is a fail on their part all the way around.

Again I'd say its more a problem with the weapon itself or the powerscore associated with it.
Just watch out "trolling" them as its a bannable offence to repeatingly harass teammates :P

And without wanting to attack you (always depends on the total PS of the build) but Crossbows are pretty "OP" too :P

("OP" = Strong, I don't really like the term as everyone throws it around but it good for sarcasm factor here ^^)

Was thinking of your comment on crossbows,.. i would say they are a bit op for their classification but only if used in multiples quads or tri configurations.
if I were to suggest a balance change i would kleave the dmg and effect "the whole point of the weapon is the knock back" but slow the rate of fire a bit to bring overall dps in line with similar tier weapons.
what do you think?

Yes 1 scorpion in a 5k match or 2 in an 8k match are both way beyond what teh PS score would allow as ballanced or fair play.

Not the ramming is "bannable" (as if they would check this) but ingame rules state that you have to fire at enemies, you cant do that if youre trolling the whole round, but yea as if they monitor that ^^

Valid Points, Price is really way to high to make it reasonable. There were some crates where you had the chance to get relics (still some on market)
I think you could even craft them but im not sure, quite some time ago now^^
But yea Crate-odds are extremely low too in crossout so i couldn't bother with crates...

Sure, but i wouldn't fear a single scorpion either :P
Yea rate of fire sounds nice, I'd also say reduce Ammo a bit so they actually have to bring at least one ammo crate :)

I have a dual tsunami build @ 12.7k & a dual reaper build @ 13.7k. Reapers need a buff these days. I have more fun with tsunamis. Will have mammoth build soon I think. I like cannons.

i run a dual mammy build they are fun ,.. i agree the reapers need a slight buff and as reduction in size the hit box is pretty damn big,.. or increase health on them a bit.
I never was very good with my tsunami builds ,.. though to be fair i got rid of them before i got hovers.
