Honestly, with all this rage just for an uninstallation, I'm not really sure why you installed this in the first place XD

u jokers. maybe its pretty simple to you but i like to get kissed before ♥♥♥♥♥♥. why do i have steam for when it installs my game but cannot uninstall it ??? thats why the reputable developers in the game are all creating their own distribution platforms... its a shame and scam !!!

assuming you're using windows:
Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program > Select 'Crossout' > Press 'Uninstall'.

Many Gaijin Entertainment games existed on their own distribution platform and subsequently attached to Steam at a later date... which is why you have to uninstall them manually outside of Steam, even if you installed them through Steam.

Crossout explicitly was stand alone in 2016 during it's beta and had a Steam launch in 2017. The game is largely handled by it's own launcher with Steam acting as a Security Channel to allow players to use their 'Steam Wallet' funds to purchase the Digital Currency found in the game.

its literally not complicated at all you can go to task manager and find the file locations if you really want to uninstall a good game then end the task and bam remove the files

ok but i do this, and when i go to reinstall it on a different drive. there is no download and it is instantly ready to play. which means the game was not uninstalled ?

ok so here is how to do it

have the game installed, go to steam library, right click crossout. click properties and then follow that up with Local files then finally browse.

now what you want to do is click the bar in the file explorer that will look like this[ (https://i.imgur.com/kJAdQ2U.png) so that it looks like this (https://i.imgur.com/enjUR3X.png (drive letter will not matter its just where you installed the game)

Copy this to your clipboard. and keep file explorer open

next you want to right click crossout from steam library and manage the game. click uninstall

open file explorer and paste the text you just copied and press enter. from here press CTRL + A then Del. or go back up one files with the up arrow next to the address http://](https://i.imgur.com/Gfeo3iA.png) and delete Crossout folder itself. the game should now be deleted

Not only that you have to uninstall the game, you also need to uninstall gaijin launcher.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, how its possible gaijin not including a decent unnistall boton in the game or launcher, like every other game. because of this i will never install this crap again.
If you can't even survive uninstallation of 1 game, wtfh are you doing on Steam ?
I'm only here because I have titles I cannot free from Steam and they will not refund me.
I freed Crossout from Steam because it's not DRM tied to it, when I came back in 2023.
