you should read the update news instead of cry like a little baby.
mabye buy glasses.
just lower the scrap reward after 500~ like you do with the daily xp.
The other thing that needs to be remembered here is that you will also get to complete weekly quests. These quests give you Engineer Badges that you can trade for whatever resource you want. For example: 500 units of scrap metal for 300 badges. This should be pretty easy to get. The minimum each weekly quest gives you is 100 Badges and at least 4 of the missions reward you with 450 Badges.
I think the Badge system will help to alleviate some of the problems that come with this new cap but only time will tell...
The Daily rewards will also give you 365 Scrap if you complete them all each day. "Note that all of the above tasks will be issued once each day."
TLDR: Caps suck... People who play every day get more. Badges may help those who don't play every day.
Edit: Corrected spelling and added Daily Quest info.
August 27th they will be adding new Daily & Weekly Challenges.
When these new challenges are active, if you play 4 days a week, hit your 500 cap, and do all of the daily challenges each day you will now get 3460 scrap a week.
The weekly challenges will allow you to earn Badges. The Badges can be traded for ANY resource." -shamefulldeeds
Do you know how fast I get to 500 scrap? But then again I can't play every day. So whoever has a few game heavy days per month, will either go to modes they may not prefer, or stop earning and just play.
