Earning limit in scrap metal and wires. Bye Crossout, Hello P2WIN GRINDCORE
I just logged back in after the "update" and I noticed the new limits to scrap and wires. The new limits is 500. HA, lol! Did you complete your daily tasks? Stop playing. LOL That will really go down well. So at least there was a grinding option to get the expensive stuff, now the only way is to P A Y. Hahahah. Pretty stupid. Watch your player base drop out. Losers. LOL

Haha, yeah no need to pay, just wait 4 years for that sweet ass epic or higher item. LOL. Why don't you link the notes genius? I could not find any for this patch, because it was marked as "maintainance".

This will drive up the price of scrap

The new limit is daily not weekly.

You must feel very smart right? And what if somebody (many if not most players) plays mostly during the weekend?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

adding more & more limits is allways a bad idea.
just lower the scrap reward after 500~ like you do with the daily xp.

the least they could have done is reset your scrap count for the day after patching it to a 500 scrap limit, i logged in to find that i was 626 scrap out of 500 and now i have to wait 11 hours .....theyre goes my morning fun before work

I get the frustration. I myself would prefer not to have any limit on our resources. For those of us who play regularly the total amount of resources we can get a week just increased by a few hundred. For those who only play casually or on the weekend the game just got allot tuffer. I get what they are trying to do. They want to reward players who play on a regular basis. At the same time they are trying to increase the chance that people will spend money on this game. All of this makes sense. It is a business after all. Free to play games generally force F2P gamers to grind the hell out of whatever resource it is they need before they can get what they want. The idea is that you will eventually get impatient at some point and spend some cash on the game. The cap is a great way to do this but its also a pretty scummy way. I am sure they would defend it by saying something like, we have to put a cap on resources gained or the market would crumble. Sure... Things would be cheaper but that only affects the company itself. The only affect it would have on the player base is that you could get more for your Gold Coins.

The other thing that needs to be remembered here is that you will also get to complete weekly quests. These quests give you Engineer Badges that you can trade for whatever resource you want. For example: 500 units of scrap metal for 300 badges. This should be pretty easy to get. The minimum each weekly quest gives you is 100 Badges and at least 4 of the missions reward you with 450 Badges.

I think the Badge system will help to alleviate some of the problems that come with this new cap but only time will tell...

The Daily rewards will also give you 365 Scrap if you complete them all each day. "Note that all of the above tasks will be issued once each day."

TLDR: Caps suck... People who play every day get more. Badges may help those who don't play every day.

Edit: Corrected spelling and added Daily Quest info.

first of, the scrap you get from the dailyes doesnt count to the limit, and the limit of 500 resource resets every day, please, read the patch notes before you start ranting, also, the new season will be much more profitable, for all the players, now those who have a lot of time can almost get a purple container every week, and those who barely can play can just keep the engineer badges untill they can get something they want https://forum.crossout.net/index.php?/topic/292541-update-pc-crossout-09110/ heres your patch notes you wanted, i recommend you to check them out before you start hating on the game while you have no idea what did they even changed and how

So. I've somehow hit my limit. It claims I have made over 2000/500. Yeah, right. ♥♥♥♥ you Crossout devs.

"There has always been a resource cap. Scrap was capped at 2800 a week but now its 500 a Day.

August 27th they will be adding new Daily & Weekly Challenges.

When these new challenges are active, if you play 4 days a week, hit your 500 cap, and do all of the daily challenges each day you will now get 3460 scrap a week.

The weekly challenges will allow you to earn Badges. The Badges can be traded for ANY resource." -shamefulldeeds

I know there was a cap. But it was seamless, because you had to binge to surpass it. Now you have to get down with the schedule. Other changes they made make sense, but a daily cap is as flexible as a reasonable cap.
Do you know how fast I get to 500 scrap? But then again I can't play every day. So whoever has a few game heavy days per month, will either go to modes they may not prefer, or stop earning and just play.
