Error when launching the game
Repair just halts at 30%. Where does it download this game to? I don't have space on my main drive. The game should install (and download) on a different one but i think it downloads on my main. how to change? Played this game before just fine (500+ hours, then it just freezes after a while). But i had problems so I thought I would reinstall. Launching over steam just gives me a 'data error' which I assume is because of a half installed game.

I guess I could download the torrent. But I'm not sure if this will work over steam.

* edit, I downloaded the exe through torrent which give me the same result.

I get this during loading:

Fatal error:
Disc read error
Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

I deleted all the local content in the steam folder and the 'mydocuments' and reinstalled. I'm lost at this point, pls help.

Go to Steam tab/Settings/Downloads. Select Steam Library Folders and then add a new one to the drive you want. When you go to install the game, select the Steam Folder you want to use.

Try uninstalling from the game's popup menu in the Steam Library or from Windows control panel and then delete anything that's left. Then reinstall just from steam and don't use anything from a torrent. Steam does not like it when you mess with the folder structures manually unless you are familiar with the precise methods. I'm not sure, but the data error might have been because a firewall or antivirus is blocking the anti-cheat system. I had to add the Crossout folder to AVG exceptions to get the launcher to work.
