The thing is they can do everything: can use them as armor, strife left and right and they are quite durable, and reduce recoil of heavy weapons, but they don't excel at anything.
But as said above, It's always a good idea to have them now they are cheap, since it's just a matter of time they get a buff ^^
Slow ( with the Spidercab as fast as tracks), special steering, to high so that others can get under you, to high PS for what they do.
Maybe at high lvl usefull as weaponcarrier.
Btw, you can test Packages in the Garage, try the Spyderpack........
You probably have to tweak the spider vehicle a bit, but if you like autocannons it's fine
If you sell the cabin and parts its still one of the most coin value packages i think. And if you buy it because you really like the cabin then its good anyway ;)
Test it by yourself in the Garage..............
allows great maximum weight capacity with the
"Cheater ™" or "Aircraft - The Fat Block ™" engine and tank cabins
Basically its 50 USD/EUR/GBP to be able to crawl on to Tsunami players.
Tank building in the game would make more sense if for example the Harpoon would take 2 energy and several other non-weapon-systems would be reduced by 1 energy and if all armor parts had 100% more durability. My opinion.
Remember that you can buy great game(s) for such money...
